The incredibly beautiful Calistoga Vineyard Estate was the best decision we ever made for our first family reunion. The view from the property is spectacular, The house was impeccable, from the cleanliness of the rooms, to the variety of amenities, ie. pool, outside kitchen, tennis court, volley ball court, game room and the work out facility. The location of the estate is a short bike ride into the city where you can dine in some of the finest restaurants and shop till you drop. This jewel is an outstanding respite, snuggled into the vineyards of the beautiful Calistoga valley. I can hardly wait to return this July for the second time. I would highly recommend the Calistoga Vineyard Estate to any one that is looking for a great place to unwind, relax and enjoy the beauty of mother nature.

We had been looking for a long time for a place that offered the same amenties as a high end family oriented Club Med but without the hassle of extended travel or crowds and we found it in this place. The layout of both houses is extremely conducive to large groups with lots of kids, and the pool, especially the in pool seating area and outdoor kitchen, are fantastic for large family meals. Add to this on site sand volleyball, tennis, a cool game room in the barn with ping pong, fussball and air hockey and fantastic road and mountain biking nearby and you have the makings of a great family vacation. It was more than we were originally looking to spend, but we will be back.

If you are family and sports-oriented, this vineyard estate is the ideal place to be for a weekend (or longer!). Right outside the front gate are miles and miles of some of the best road biking in the country. On the estate itself we played tennis, bocce, volleyball, and swam all day, every day. Great times had by all.

My friends and I love to organize large group trips with 10-12 people to our favorite destinations. So when I say this home in Calistoga is our ABSOLUTE hands-down favorite, it is based on a lot of experience. A place may cost more money, but it does not always mean it’s worth it. This one definitely is – not only for its gorgeous location (it is nestled under Mt. St. Helena with hiking nearby, biking down the Silverado Trail, and running through vineyard-lined roads), or its amazing grounds complete with vineyard, 20 ft pool, patio, outdoor grill and gazebo, two outdoor entertaining areas, or its high-quality design and interior furnishings (amazing kitchen with everything a cook could ever need), but because it is one of the most UNIQUE properties you'll have the chance to experience. In the outer perimeters of the property, there is a full tennis court, volleyball court, bocce ball court, indoor gym, and bonus game room! I am told the owner's wife wanted to ensure the natural beauty of the place was undisturbed while the husband wanted to provide the “dream” amenities for those who love to stay active and keep fit . The town of Calistoga is nearby too with one of the most charming main streets around, still laid back with a small town feel (that can no longer be said of St. Helena or Healdsburg). We'll definitely be back. Mark this one down as a MUST STAY!!

A truly perfect home! No detail was overlooked in making this an ideal vacation home, really excellently maintained. Our large family enjoyed the bocce court, bikes, tennis court, the fantastic pool and spa, outdoor kitchen, game room, and the workout facilities. The idyllic, quiet setting, private bedroom/bathroom arrangement (all with great views) and generous attention to comfort made everyone feel very much like they were enjoying our own personal retreat. We had a baby travelling with us and it was nice that the owners had items for the very young, too! The owners provided lots of information on services, activities and sights prior to our visit. Each day members of the family made the short drives to tour the vineyards, do tastings, spa treatments, mud baths, photograph the unique scenery and enjoy great dinners in St. Helena and Calistoga. The people were so friendly and helpful everywhere we went! Some of the serious cycling enthusiasts in the group rented additional bikes and equipment in town and took advantage of the very accessible and scenic miles of bike paths around the valley. It was so fabulous to start each day enjoying a cup of coffee in the crisp morning as the occasional hot air balloon passed by, then to take advantage of all the activities on the grounds or close by, and then to end the day with a bit of wine on the beautifully furnished patio, listening to music or just the birds sing, and to very literally "smell the roses"--the property has a lovely rose garden adjacent to the house, filled with a variety of beautiful colors that was beginning a spectactular display! None of us could imagine a more wonderful way to have enjoyed our visit to Napa Valley. We have rented many vacation homes in diverse locations and this one totally exceeded our expectations. The whole family wanted to stay longer in this beautiful setting and we all hope to return.

I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying in your property in Calistoga. Would you mind if we mentioned it to friends of ours who are looking to do something similar for a big birthday? We would certainly like to rent your property again some day as it was a perfect size for our extended family.
